The Metrostars have denied internet rumours claiming Michael Ballack will become their latest signing. The Germany captain has had an injured-plagued Chelsea career and can leave on a free transfer once his contract expires in June.

Although negotiations to renew his contract are underway, it was thought that Ballack might choose to fill the vacant number 13 shirt at Mumong. The move is unlikely however due to the 32-year-old's £130,000 per week pay packet which is £130,000 per week more than any of the current Metrostars squad are being paid.

A press conference was called today to introduce the Metrostars' new signing, Wafi. The latest addition to the squad impressed while on loan in the last game and the Metrostars acted quickly to offer him a permanent deal. His agent has revealed that the tricky winger wil be wearing the number 22 shirt.

Potential owners Montgomery Burns and Stanley Monopoly were spotted by Paparazzi in front of the Metrostars Superstore in Batu Satu.

According to reports, Mr. Monopoly, was taking a tour of the property when he was surprised by the sudden appearance of Mr. Burns, his rival for control of the Metrosexual Superstars. The real estate tycoon then left without a word, speeding away in a tiny silver car.

The Metrostars' squad continues to grow with the signing of Auni, a strong centre back. The defender impressed Metrostars scouts after an extended loan spell. The new number 86 passed a medical today and is expected make his debut on Tuesday against STL.
