In a month where Sir Alex Ferguson has led Manchester United to their 18th title and Hull manager Phil Brown has secured Premier league survival, caretaker manager Yasmi has emerged as an unlikely contender for the Manager of the Month award, with the Metrostars winning 3 out of their last 4 games.

Yasmi has had a long history with the Metrosexual Superstars, dating back to when he was a youth player in the club's academy.

Metrostars legend Isz scored his first goal for the Metrostars since his return from Australia in the recent Mamat invitational where the Metrostars claimed top spot.

When asked if it felt good to score after such a long time away from the game, he replied "hell yeah"

Metrostars youngster graduates to first team

Metrostars youth player Muhaimin has put pen to paper on a long term contract. The youngster has made several substitute appearances for the first team this season and particularly impressed in the last game where he grabbed his first assist.

Muhaimin M will wear the number 23 shirt, which is the reverse of his brother's squad number.

You may have noticed that one of the pitches the Mighty Metrostars used to play on is no longer there. Rumour has it that the Metrostars' new 45,000 capacity C.A.M. stadium is to be built in its place.

World cup winning ex-Chelsea boss Felipe Scolari has been spotted on several occasions around the Belait district this past week.

It is believed that Big Phil may be in talks to take over the reigns of the Metrostars and is understood to be club owner Monty Burn's first choice for the position.
