For earning the most Man of the Match awards over the course of the season, goal keeper Khalid wins the second individual award, the SEHAT trophy!
With his latest performance earning him a 4th Man of the Match award, Khalid narrowly beat out top scorer and assist man Mohamad who managed 3.
More awards to come.
Large scale crowd trouble erupted at the recent Carling Cup round in the game between rivals West Ham United and Millwall. One fan was stabbed and fans invaded the pitch among flying bottles at the final whistle in a match which ended 3-1 to the Premier League club.
No such scenes are expected at the Mumong though, since no one ever shows up to watch!

With the season over, it is a time for reflection in the Metrostars camp, and of course, award season.
The first individual award goes to Mamat who has scored 26 goals this season, overtaking Hadi in the last two games to win the golden boot award. Together, the strike pairing have hit a staggering 50 goals! New signing Sepol earns a honourable mention, scoring 14 goals in his very short time with the club while Haz also hit double figures with 10.Mamat also tops the assists charts with 21, almost double that of his nearest rival Soon (11 assists).
More awards to come.
More memorable moments include a karate kick goal from top-scorer Mamat and then Razley colliding with the goal post after a fine save. His team-mates decided to laugh first before offering to help.
Yasmi was tireless in midfield and more than once fooled the defence with some slick tricks. Naz and Isz both showed high energy levels as opposed to Hadi who showed a distinct lack of fitness for some reason. Perhaps most encouraging for the new season is the blossoming partnership between Whirling Wafi and Lee Yuan 'Player' Soon which proved to be an endless supply of goals on the night.

Brunei DPMM FC's undefeated home record ended last weekend thanks to some dodgy decisions by the referee who sent off three defenders just before half-time. Rene Kumar has branded the referee a 'disgrace and a thief' and many suspect this is part of a growing conspiracy against Brunei's representative in the S-league.

Long term Metrostars target Xabi Alonso reportedly handed in a transfer request over the weekend to boss Rafa Benitez. However, the Mumong club have ruled themselves out of a move for the Spaniard.
"Alonso is not in our plans," said a club spokesman. "While he is a great player, we simply do not have any more extra shirts available."
Yasir and Soon have been fined 3 weeks wages for refusing to be substituted against the UK Galaxy.
Meanwhile, defender Syarul has been fined 2 weeks wages for forgetting his kit at the last game.
