Jose Mourinho's handcuff gesture in Inter's match against Sampdoria, where he had two players sent off, has landed him in trouble with the Italian FA who have hit the Portuguese manager with a three-match ban, believing he was criticising the referee.
The Special One has explained his actions today, revealing that he was responding to rumours linking him to the Metrostars job. "I would rather go to jail" he said.
The Metrostars squad has been looking a bit thin in the past two games but the Mumong-based club can expect the return of two key players over the coming games. Deddy, who cannot wait for his next match, has made a speedy recovery from his knee ligament injury which was expected to keep him out for 2 months. Though the match on 1st March may be too soon for him, he may be available on the 9th. Meanwhile, Isz has denied rumours his long term absense has been WAG-related and revealed that he has been suspended due to work commitments. He is looking forward to returning in the next match.

Premiership club Portsmouth are facing a battle for survival over the next few weeks as their £11.5m tax bill and £60m debt threatens to bankrupt the club. Pompey have failed to play their wages on time on 4 occasions this season and have been forced to sell their best players like Defoe, Crouch, Krancjar and Glen Johnson to lessen the debt.
Their story bears striking similarity to the Metrostars who are also reported to be in debt and an insider at the club revealed that no wages have been paid to the players last month. Fears of a fire-sale were proved unfounded, however, when it was realised that the Metrostars don't pay any wages at all.
Despite a disastrous start to the season, a recent good run of form has seen the Metrostars lose only once out of the last 10, winning 8 along the way. The stats show that the Metrostars have already improved over last season, despite having played 4 games less.
