Lee Yuan Soon has moved to end months of speculation that the left sided midfielder would be leaving the club this summer. The rumour mill was buzzing at the end of last season with news that Soon was having his head turned by FC Shaolin but the player's latest statement comes after the Mumong Academy graduate puts pen to paper on a long term deal.
Thanks to the ingenious selection of hat-trick hero, Didier Drogba, Metro Sub FC are sitting pretty at the top of the table. The decision to start with Evra and Terry who got clean sheets at the weekend also helped. Can Zam Zam sustain his lead over the rest of the season?Its not too late to join in the fun! With the season ended, its time to look back at a glorious 2009/10 and hand out the individual awards.
Striker Sepol also had a prolific season, becoming only the second ever player to score 30 goals in a season. Hadi came third, equaling his previous year's tally of 24.
Overall, its been a great year for goals at Mumong with Yasir, Soon, Muhd M, Auni and Zamri L more than doubling their contribution from last season but special mention must go to Syarul who scored 22 times more than he did last season!

Speculation has been rife all summer that Soon will "return home" to FC Shaolin, especially since the player himself recently admitted that he is flattered by the interest shown in him. Some Shaolin players took the opportunity to ambush the Metrostar after the recent friendly and force an FC Shaolin jersey on him. The Metrostars have expressed their displeasure at the 'tapping up' of the Metrostar academy graduate and are sure to be furious at these latest images.
