Today we catch up with Metrostar Isz, who is currently on a long-term loan deal to Griffith University in Australia, doing a Sports Science degree. The central midfielder will make his Mumong return in March 2009 where he will be taking up a player-coach role. The midfield maestro has said that he "can't wait" to don the famous Metrostars jersey once again. Isz, who is yet another member of the first team that has come through the Metrostars youth academy, is due to graduate in July 2009.
As the January transfer window approaches, the Metrostars, like many of the smaller clubs, face their yearly battle to avoid their star players being poached by bigger clubs.

This week marks the start of the International Break where players will be answering call-ups to their respective squads from all corners of the globe.
Player-manager Hadi will be flying to Singapore for a 4-day shopping spree training camp before linking up with Isz in Brisbane for some international beach football and will return January 4th.
Unfortunately for Futsal fans, this means there will be no club football until the second week of January. Metrostars fans will be hoping that their players return from international duty without picking up any injuries.
