The Metrostars announced at a press conference today that their captain, Naz, will be sidelined for 10 months, confirming rumours circulating the British tabloids.
It was hoped that the defender would only be away for 6 weeks after being called up to serve his country in kadet askar, but Naz himself confirmed he would be in training for much longer.
Naz has vowed to return from national duty better than ever. The player released the following statement "nnt ku balik in action fit ni ah...biar ku mengoreng bula"

The Metrostars have snapped up classy centre-back Gigz for an undisclosed fee after the defender impressed during his 4-game loan spell. This marks the Mumong club's first signing of the new season.

Fabio Capello has stated that Beckham would need a move away from Los Angeles in order to be considered for the England World Cup squad. However, negotiations on a Metrostars move reportedly broke down when the ex-Galactico learned that he would have to chip in $2 after every game.
It has been announced that the Pegastar Futsal Challenge has been cancelled so the Metrostars will not travel to Tutong to compete today. However, November will still see a chance to bring some silverware to Mumong with the Metrostars set to enter the B.O.W. futsal tournament.
