The Metrostars announced at a press conference today that their captain, Naz, will be sidelined for 10 months, confirming rumours circulating the British tabloids.

It was hoped that the defender would only be away for 6 weeks after being called up to serve his country in kadet askar, but Naz himself confirmed he would be in training for much longer.

Naz has vowed to return from national duty better than ever. The player released the following statement "nnt ku balik in action fit ni ah...biar ku mengoreng bula"

Metrostars sign Giggs!

Posted by Hadi Thursday, November 26, 2009 0 comments

The Metrostars have snapped up classy centre-back Gigz for an undisclosed fee after the defender impressed during his 4-game loan spell. This marks the Mumong club's first signing of the new season.

Unfortunately for fans, team jerseys are out of stock at the official Metro Store at the moment, so no one will be able to buy Gigsy's number 2 jersey... not even Gigz himself!

The diving debate has heated up recently since David Ngog won Liverpool a penalty and a point Monday night. Wayne Rooney, who has had trouble with the Metrostars in the past, has paid tribute to Lee Yuan Soon, calling him "the best diver on the planet".

Soon goes to ground clutching his back while French coach Raymond Domenech gives his opinion from the sidelines.
