The Metrostars are furious at an alleged illegal approach to sign their left-sided playmaker, Lee Yuan Soon.
The controversy began when Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was interviewed outside the Emirates stadium.
He was reportedly asked "Are you going to be signing any new players?"
The situation was made worse by the player himself being spotted by paparazzi sporting a Gunners shirt with his name on the back (see picture), wearing the number of injured striker Eduardo.
Wenger had squashed rumours of a move several weeks ago but this latest comment seems to have confirmed his interest.
DONT GO 'PLAYER'! WE NEED YOU! I think ko kana fine by the club ne Soon. aku report ke BAFA ne
hahahaaa...macam banar...i think the comment by Arsene Wenger on whether to have new signings 'yes, soon' is supposed to be pretty soon, not Lee Yuan Soon...hahaha..
